Volunteering in the Community - Tree planting at Quairading:

National Tree Day signifies the annual tree planting day in Quairading.  Subiaco members, joined by our Rotaractors and members of Quairading, Western Endeavour and Perth Rotary Clubs planted trees north east of Quairading.salt can become productive again.  This year due to Covid we were unable to take our children from Rosalie or Churchlands Primary Schools as we had hoped, but Rotarians and friends planted approximate 7,500.  We were assisted by some Quairading Shool children who got stuck into the job on Friday afternoon before we  arrived.

Change Over Celebration - Thank you to each of you.

I would like to thank everyone in the club and their partners, families and friends for their involvement this year.
I hope you have all enjoyed the year and feel that we “as a club” have seen some significant achievements in spite of Covid, or perhaps because of Covid. I am especially pleased that the Club functioned beautifully in spite of the disruptive nature of the year.

It is a testament to you all.     (A summary of  our achievements is is available under read more).
DG Jon Bilson Inducted Alta Terblanche (Pictured) & Mark Chia .
He welcomed Alan Nash as an Honorary Member of our club and awarded a Paul Harris pin to his assistant via zoom for their contributions to the people of his Island and surrounds in the Philippines.
He also awarded 2 Paul Harris pins with sapphire to club members Geoff Smith and Dave Musarra.
Our Club will be led for the next twelve months by the very accomplished David Musarra PHF+ who by day runs Qbit Computers a business which helps other businesses succeed by managing and enhancing their IT who has a clearly defined plan for us during the coming year.

Welcome President David - Congratulations

Our Inaugural Stan Perron Award Winner Robert Scriba - Schools will be thinking about this award again soon....

It was an honour to present the inaugural award from The Rotary Club of Subiaco to Robert Scriba at the Perth Modern School Graduation Ceremony of 2019 in December.

The Award Panel wishes to seek student candidates who may not be Dux or Sportsperson of the Year, but are very good students, both academically and at sport, make a contribution to the school community service and who emulate the elements of Rotary’s Four Way Test which Stan Perron built his business around.

The Interact Club at Perth Modern School

Thank you to Robyn White for her ongoing support and valuable input into the Club and to Terry Smith for organising the ongoing involvement of its members in fundraising at our Gourmet Bacon and Egg Stall each Sunday morning.

The leadership roles in the Club have now been passed down to year 10's and re recently received this wonderful thank you from the immediate past Vice-President for 2019.
"I would like to thank you Terry for being so organised and for giving our club the opportunity to participate at the stall during my time there. Helping out at the Bacon and Eggs stall was a heap of fun and I'm so happy I got that experience. I hope you have a heap more fun with the new members at our club; they're all lovely people who are willing to help.

Kindest regards,

Nhaveen Moorthy

(Vice-President of Subiaco Interact 2019)"
