Curtin Neuroscience Laboratory

Melissa researches mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), also known as concussion. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. at Curtin Medical School. Her research focuses on predicting TBI outcomes by using diffusion MRI and blood biomarkers. Melissa has a Bachelor Degree in Anatomy and Human Biology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology. Over the years, she won multiple awards for her research, including FameLab recognition and prestigious scholarships.
