To really, really get the most of the afternoon you will know that all funds raised go directly to Orange Sky to support their Laundry and Shower Van known as Lottie.
Lottie operates in Perth's southern suburbs driving to parks and shelters where "she" allows homeless people to wash and dry their clothes and to have a hot shower.
Some of the people who use Orange Sky's services say that the best part is waiting for the washing to dry, siting and chatting with the van volunteers about normal, everyday things. For homeless people who are accustomed to being unseen or being clients, talking to people is a luxury.
